yup that be me on the guitar, this song is a collaboration. It features Drums and bass from jimkDaAdtman from the website www.bandamp.com another website for musicians. I did the lead guitar and rhythm guitar on this. it's pretty much one take. I just loaded it in cubase and made markers where the breaks where at and then jammed the back up guitars then improv the lead. pretty basic stuff really.

Kewl. You can tell the drums are real. Nice guitar licks. My only crit comment is that the recording sounds a little bit too midrangey, I would boost the bass end a tad, take about -5 db out at 1Khz and boost 4 Khz by about +4 db and a little high end sparkle on the cymbals and such +2 db at 10Khz.

Cool shredding and musicianship all the way around though.

whoa, that really grabs you by the booboo!

groovy tone all around, the drum tone is actually a really nice breath of fresh air, the snare sounds great in particular.

I agree with leedsquietman's thought concerning the mix, but I think it may be more effective to just isolate the instruments and take the EQ out of the ranges he mentioned, but only in the instruments that need it, lead guitar especially. Def more 8-12KHz on the drums.

vicious shredding!

well this is just what i call a noodle it's not really a song. So it doesn't really need all that effort. it's just a cheesy jam thing. no real music direction or anything and the fact the I just jammed over an already made drum and bass track ...don;t feel like cutting and pasting and inserting more parts for this ...I'll leave it soo it is what it is an cheesy noodle.

Yes, just a jam :O (Oops)
Well for just a jam, .. well, I like the noodling you are doing, you are good improviser :) (Smile)
there are some pretty neat sounding parts, like at 1:10 I think. I just love it when guitarists bend notes all bluesy, especially in a chord >_< .. -sigh- silly classical music :) (Smile)
